| DR. CHEUNG CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY |

Our newest veterinarian, Dr. E. Cheung has now been with VHAH for over a year. Her intelligence, thoroughness, and passion for providing the best possible care for her patients have made her a valuable member of the VHAH team. A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, she is up to date with all of the latest techniques, but she also attended the huge Western Veterinary Conference this year to learn the most cutting edge information. Dr. Cheung lives here with her husband and her allergic cat, “Spanky.” Her strong interest in and experience with exotic pets has quickly built a following in that area, but her dog and cat clients love her too. We think you will like her thorough and compassionate bedside manner as much as we do.

WATCH "SHEBA" LOSE WEIGHT!

"Sheba", the husky in the picture, belongs to our receptionist, Leann. She's overweight by at least 15 lbs. and has some food issues. Leann has put "Sheba" on SLENTROL, which is the first FDA-approved prescription medication to manage obesity in dogs. Leann is delighted with "Sheba's" weight loss progress so far, and is even more delighted with some important behavioral changes.
