STAFF BIOGRAPHY
DR. SUSAN M. SNEED
Veterinary medicine is actually my second career, my first having been in the food industry where I worked for a time as a quality assurance technician. Having said that, I now can't imagine being anything but a veterinarian, something perhaps that can be attributed to the fact that I grew up on a farm in central Wisconsin where pigs, horses, cows, ducks and chickens also lived. Cats and dogs in particular were expected to contribute to the smooth operation of the farm, just like my eight siblings and myself. Our pets were given plenty of attention by all of the human family members.
My immediate family now consists of Terry (husband), Christine (daughter) and Lily (Border Collie). My personal philosophy is to treat others the way I would like to be treated, and in my veterinary practice, to treat the client's pet as I would treat my own.
