The purpose of this page is to show off our newest patients.  These are mostly cute puppies and kittens, with the occasional rabbit, small mammal, lizard, or turtle.  Check back regularly if you like cute babies!  Be sure to scroll down to see them all.  If your pet is on this page, we apologize that we occasionally have to remove some pictures that have been up for a while to make room for new ones.

If we took your pet's picture and you don't see it here but would like it here, just call the office and let us know.  We'll do our best to oblige.

“Kermit” Woodward is a 3-year-old Greyhound who came from a Greyhound rescue in Florida because he was too slow at the track.  He’s a little shy but very friendly and affectionate.  Even though he’s only been in his new home for less than a week, Kali, his 14-year-old new big sister, stood up for him to a bully dog at the horse barn.  Chloe, one of cats in his new house, hissed at him when he first arrived, so now he’s timid about the cats and won’t chase them.

“Moose” Gordon is a 14-week-old Siberian Husky/Australian Shepherd mix who came from a shelter.  He loves everybody and loves the snow; he jumps right in and buries his head in it.  Family members leave their shoes by the front door; if one family member is out of sight, he carries that person’s shoe around in his mouth.  The family cat Emma isn’t so sure about Moose yet, but give her time, we bet Moose wins her over.

“Coco” Sullivan is a young adult Miniature Pinscher, or Min Pin for short.  She was rescued from a private party who gave her up.  She’s tiny but has a big voice and attitude to match; she thinks she’s a big dog.  She already has learned to sit quietly to get treats.

"Dweezil" Onorato is an 11-week-old Labrador Retriever mix. He has a lot of spunk and loves playing with the two cats in the house. He looks like a little Polar Bear when he plays (and disappears) in the snow.

"Zoe" Evaristo is a 12-week-old Australian Shepherd mix. She's smart and knows some basic commands, but has a lot of energy and likes to play with and paw her sister Missy. She also likes to jump into the snow and burrow, and her favorite toy is a squeaky rope.

“Sunshine” Joyce is an 11-week-old Pekingese mix.   She likes to chase the cats around and grab on to their tails, but since they are three times her size she ends up getting dragged around.  She also goes to the cats’ food bowl at dinner time and pushes between them to eat.  They all get along very well.

“Guiness” Hughes” is an 11-week-old Labradoodle – that’s a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Standard Poodle.  His favorite toy is his heartbeat toy dog, which be both chews on and carries around.  He loves the snow and army crawls into it until he is completely covered and invisible.  When he comes inside there is so much snow frozen in his coat that it takes a 30-minute defrosting session to dry him out.

“Holden” Mandeltort is an 8-week-old Guinea Pig. He purrs when he’s happy and purrs the most when you scratch his backside.  He has a very soft coat.  He’s shy about new foods but is starting to munch on parsley and kale.  Every morning and night he goes wild and races around and around his cage.

This new Wilcox kitten is waiting for just the right name.  He's 10 months old and came from a shelter only yesterday, but he's very affectionate - even to the doctor here - and follows the owner everywhere.  He has a bad right eye that is scarred and blind due to some unknown trauma prior to being rescued, but he's squinting at the focus light of the camera as cats often do, not from the bad eye.

"Oreo" Rinaldi is a 12-week-old Cock-a_Poo who came from Lamb's Farm.  He loves to snuggle and likes to play with his food.  He eats kibble by kibble and tosses each piece into the air and pushes it around before swallowing it.  His big brother "Dakota," a 5-year-old Cock-a-Poo, doesn't like Oreo yet andd wants to make sure Ore understands who the top dog is.

“Big Boy” Hofmeier is a 12-week-old French Bulldog. His new family includes Olive, another French Bulldog, and Bella, a giant Bull Mastiff. Bella and Big Boy love each other and the bigger dog is very gentle. She lies on the ground so Big Boy can lick her muzzle and jump on her head; if she stands up, play time is over because Big Boy can’t reach her. Big Boy’s favorite toy is a Nylabone, which he carries around in his mouth and fetches.

“Maggie” is a 9-week-old Labrador Retriever and is the newest member of the Kahn family, arriving just in time for the holidays. She’s sweet and friendly and loves everyone whom she meets. She has won the hearts of her new family just by being herself.

“Dexter” Reiff is a 14-week-old Puggle (Pug/Beagle Mix). When he wakes up from a nap he puts his front legs around his owners and stretches out his rear legs. Then he yawns with his tongue as long as it will go and makes a sound that sounds like a “Meow!”
